ABSTRACT

A Monte Carlo simulation with Multi-Chain model for nucleus-nucleus collisions is used to make clear both the dependence on the nuclear mass number and on the chamber geometrical structure to fractional photon energies deposited in the JACEE chambers. Specially the characteristics of the k-gamma distributions are examined for each primary cosmic ray nuclei. This result is utilitzed for JACEE experiments to study the primary cosmic ray spectrum.
