JACEE-13 Flight Data

The data logs from our in flight recorder have been recovered. Click here for a text file suitable for import into spreadsheets. The various fields in this file are explained in the accompanying postscript file. This dataset has been calibrated for accurate temeratures (+/- 0.2 C).

We have plots generated from data downlinked during flight. Please note that the temperature data shown was obtained using only a coarse calibration of the sensors. There is probably a 1-2 C systematic error in these readings. In the near future these will be replaced with plots generated from the flight recorder data, above.

Meaningless Statistics

Click here to see the path taken by a test balloon a week before the launch of JACEE-13. The X's on the path mark twelve hour increments. Communications with the pathfinder were lost on 12/19/94.
